Hey gang, just a couple of quick updates.

1.    Congratulations to our local players that ventured down to Johnstown and represented us well.  A couple of teams even medalled.  On Saturday Frank and Amir grabbed gold in the Men's 3.5 bracket.  Michael and Kevin snagged bronze in the Men's 3.0 bracket.  On Sunday Saralee and Michael captured bronze in the Mixed Double Open Age bracket and Cyndi Lyn and Kevin closed things out with a bronze in the Mixed Doubles Age 50 - 99 bracket.  The gang shared photos and are attached to the blog.  I did not have one of Cyndi Lyn and Kevin with their medals so I posted a group shot of the mixed doubles gang.  FYI if you ever play mixed doubles in a tournament with Saralee and/or Cyndi Lyn, anticipate the need to make a fashion splash.

2.    Tyrone is one happening place.  On Saturday, May 3rd, the Tyrone Pickleball Club is combining a "you all come" pickleball event.  Tyrone has a food truck event that day and after grabbing some great grub you head over to the pickleball courts and play from 2:00 PM to 6 PM.  The Tyrone Pickleball Club has invited us and the Blair County Pickleball Club to join them for a pickleball mixer.  This is a great opportunity to meet new players and maybe make a new friend.  For more information, see the flyer included in this blog, they do ask that you RSVP if you are coming for the pickleball.
