My trigger finger surgery went well but as a result typing or keyboarding as they say nowadays is kind of off.  Amazing how many words have the letters Y, U, H, J, B, and/or N in them.  So this will be a quick trip around the Pickleverse.

1. Congratulations to Audie, Nate, Michael, Saralee, Amy, Daney, and Wendy for grabbing some hardware in the Portage tournament last weekend.  Photos are below.

2. Final dates for signing up for Pickleball Palooza, One Day Fun Day and Johnstown YMCA Dogwood tournaments are approaching.  Check the fliers below.

3. Briners Assemble - If I counted correctly we have enough teams to compete for the team trophy but it would help the effort to retain the trophy if we could get some more teams in any of the three brackets.  Remember this is a mixed doubles competition, see the One Day Fun Day flyer attached.

4. Evening Bernel Road Park Players - Just a heads up CRPR will be holding pickleball lessons at the courts on Monday evening, July 28.  Unknown how many courts they would use.  Plan accordingly.  As I get more information I will share.

5. Much appreciation to Patton Township for their quick response to begin the repairs for the small door to the Bernel Courts and for working on the large one as well.

6. Much appreciation to Mark, Chris, and Kelly for working on the courts yesterday to get at least 3 playable for AM drop-in.

7. It was only a matter of time - apparently you can now get "pickleballs" that explode in either pink or blue for gender reveal parties.  See the photo below.
   
   

OK, time to go ice.  If I see you on the court it may just as a spectator.  Monday is wound inspection and therapy training day so that may give me a clue.  Hope to see you soon!
